Is a luggage step something for me?

What is the difference between a luggage step and an e-step?
Where traditional scooters usually have only two wheels, uBee features a stabilizing three-wheel design, making it suitable for heavier loads and riding on uneven terrain. In addition, uBee uses "lean-to-steer" technology for intuitive steering similar to snowboarding or surfing. What really sets uBee apart is its compact storage capabilities and the ability to convert it into a trolley, making it a versatile and convenient choice for both transportation and storage.
What maintenance does a uBee require?
We recommend a maintenance interval of 2 years, during which we provide a complete check of the brakes, tires (profile and tire pressure), lighting and electrical components, frame and body (tightening of bolts/screws) and a check of the folding mechanism.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free in Belgium. Shipping costs to other countries are on request.

Where can I go for maintenance of my uBee?
If you would like to have your uBee serviced or repaired (applicable to Belgium only), there are several options available through our partnership with Cyclecure, a specialized organization. Here's how to get your uBee serviced:
1. Repair @home: Our certified mechanics offer a convenient option where they come directly to your home to take care of your uBee.
2. Pickup & repair: We can have your uBee picked up at a location you specify. Once picked up, it will be taken to one of our repair centers where our expert technicians will quickly complete the repairs.
3. Delivery: For those located in Brussels and Antwerp, Cyclecure has repair stores where you can drop off your uBee directly. These customer-oriented workshops are conveniently located in central areas with excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to drop off your uBee for service.
Regardless of which option you choose, rest assured that your uBee will receive the highest quality maintenance and service.
Can I repair defects on my uBee myself?
The smart and modular design allows for easy hardware troubleshooting. Spare parts and tutorials can be provided by uBee so you can also repair the device yourself.
Can I return my uBee after purchase?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
What is the warranty policy?

How do you drive a uBee?
uBee offers a safe and enjoyable riding experience, allowing users to transport goods in a unique way, safely and smoothly. To do this, uBee uses a unique steering system that differs from traditional scooters. The design has three wheels, with two wheels placed at the front and one wheel at the back. This configuration provides stability and balance, especially when carrying heavy loads or navigating rough terrain at low speeds.
Unlike scooters with handlebars, uBee uses a carving technology. Instead of turning handlebars, the front wheels turn by shifting body weight away from the rider. When you lean to one side, the scooter responds smoothly by turning in that direction. This intuitive steering mechanism is reminiscent of activities such as skiing, snowboarding or surfing, where subtle shifts in weight determine the direction of movement.
Can I still drive when the battery is dead?
Yes, you can still ride your uBee even when the battery is dead. The uBee is designed so that it can also be used as a regular scooter.
How much luggage can I carry on my uBee?
The uBee offers a spacious luggage platform suitable for carrying various loads. The maximum load for the luggage compartment is 20 kg, while the total weight of cargo and driver combined may be a maximum of 140 kg.
How far can I drive with a full battery?
uBee heeft een bereik van 25 km of 1 uur en 20 minuten met een volle batterij (gemeten op vlak terrein met een totaalgewicht van bestuurder engoederen van 100 kg).
Should I wear a helmet on a uBee?
Although not required by law in all areas, it is highly recommended to wear a helmet to protect yourself in case of a fall or accident.
Under what regulations does the uBee baggage step in traffic fall?
Electric scooter users are treated the same as cyclists. Ride in the bike lane whenever possible, maintain a walking pace in pedestrian zones, and switch to trolley mode on the sidewalk. It is not permitted to carry passengers on a uBee.
